Going back to Monday, when we finally gave Sarah P-C the cake we'd made for her (the cake on Saturday was made by Lucy).  She'd requested a carrot cake.  The first picture above is Georgie, Sarah P-C, Brigid, Evelyn, and me as Sarah P-C is cutting the cake (after blowing out two tea light candles).  The second is a cut slice, and the third is the decorated cake.  I made the cake gluten-free (so Brigid could eat it), using lots of walnuts and coconut (Sarah P-C loves coconut), and Evelyn made cream-cheese icing and decorated it with pumpkin seeds and slivered almonds, with a yin-yang design.
